I have always found it so hard to write bios, one-liners and titles because I am, and have always been, very multi-passionate. So you won’t find me with a simple career, but you will find me with a portfolio career that lights my soul of fire, utilises my passions, and makes me feel fulfilled AF on this crazy life journey. Primarily, I am a coach running an online coaching practice while also staying heavily involved in the psychology space because I'm all about helping people thrive using psychology.
I also absolutely love building brands and businesses and have an eye for marketing and strategy so I’m likely building out new businesses BTS and occasionally helping others in a fractional marketing officer or project management capacity when a dreamy client comes along.
Aside from the ways I make money, I am also super passionate about women’s health (I have PCOS), the gluten free space (I have coeliac disease), mental health (I have anxiety), working with young offenders (I have a second MSc in Forensic Psychology and Crime) and helping young girls get into entrepreneurship (I’m currently running a pilot programme in a local school).
I always said that at some point I would share my story and use my own experience to help others. Somewhere along the line people started asking things like “how are you always so happy?” and the realisation of how much my life had changed hit me. Fast forward 10 years and I signed up for a MSc in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology so I could better understand the science behind what on earth I did to turn my life around and how I can use that to help others.
I wasn’t naturally a happy person. After years of bullying and a not-so-nice relationship I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in my late teens which I tried (and failed) to fix with alcohol and pizzas. I didn’t see a way toward a better life or any purpose beyond my next cheap glass of wine. It felt like nothing was working, until suddenly it was. A series of seemingly unimportant decisions ended up turning my life around. I later realised what I had accidentally used were actually positive psychology techniques.
