From working with so many over achievers who are bringing their vision boards to life, building innovative careers, and seeing success on a daily basis, one thing has become crystal clear: success ≠ happiness.
This is why my focus is on redefining success, and building success from the inside out. Whether your version of success looks like inner peace, daily joy, fulfilment at work, or purpose in your life, coaching can move you toward your best possible life (and business).
You might be an online-entrepreneur hitting your sales goals, being asked to speak at events and becoming known in your industry. It’s everything you ever dreamed of, but you don’t feel any happier. Maybe you’re realising you actually don’t enjoy some aspects of the business you created, perhaps you’ve lost freedom as you’ve become more in-demand, or maybe you’re just realising you have ticked off your goals only to realise your happiness is based on relationships, community and connection, the very thing you’ve had no time to prioritise.
Or maybe you are a content creator, repeatedly told that you’re living the dream and that people would love to have your life, but when you turn off the cameras you feel lost. Maybe you didn’t intend to build this career and you feel that none of it has been within your control. Perhaps you’ve hit all your lifetime goals by the age of 35 and are wondering what you are supposed to do now. You feel guilty for not feeling happier but if you’re honest with yourself, you don’t feel your work has purpose and you don’t feel fulfilled at the end of the day.
Or perhaps you are a leader at work who has worked their way up to a position that has a lot of benefits, but doesn’t feel right. You have a niggling feeling that you aren’t living the life you are supposed to and have put so much time into your career, finances and family that you have no idea what you want, who you are, or what success even looks like to you anymore. Others might say you are succeeding in every area of life, but you don’t know what you do for fun and can’t remember the last time you laughed so hard you cried.

I am a qualified and award-winning accredited coach with the EMCC with a BSc Psychology and MSc Coaching Psychology and Positive Psychology. I also have 14 years of experience working in the online business space and have built multiple online brands and businesses. I spend part of my work researching burnout at UEL, a passion of mine fuelled by my own burnout in 2020 when I built a ‘successful’ business that burned me out and my eagerness to understand what leads to burnout and how we can prevent it.
My coaching is grounded in positive psychology, with the use of evidence-based techniques informed by psychological theory. My science-backed methods are also accompanied by general coaching methods, mindset work, emotional intelligence, and leadership.

This work isn’t about removing external factors of success altogether. It’s about working from the inside out. We start with redefining success and getting really clear on what makes you feel happy and fulfilled, as well as what your best possible life looks like. Then we can co-create goals based on that. In my experience, in working toward these more aligned purpose-driven goals, the external measures of success will often take care of themselves. Success ≠ happiness, happiness = success.
Quarterly Goal Setting - At the beginning of your 6 months and then again half way through we will have bonus 90 minute calls for quarterly goal setting.
It’s fair to say that I’ve been there, done that and got the t-shirt for everything we’re talked about on this page so far. In 2020 I ended up closing down a successful business, not because it wasn’t doing well, but because I wasn’t. There had been moon sized red-flags and alarms going off 24/7 in my brain warning me that I needed to pause and reroute but I was so stuck in an achievement and perfection mindset that I either ignored my inner voice, or told myself it could wait until *insert future goal* is achieved.
I listened so much to external voices that I lost my own and I ended up hurtling and hustling my way down a path that wasn’t mine. My to-do list was never-ending, my inbox constantly refilling, and I lost the ability to enjoy my life amongst all the noise, pressure and commitments. I knew something needed to change but I didn’t feel I had time or the head space to implement anything. I couldn’t think clearly and so I just kept going, until I no longer could.
After taking a break, making lots of changes in my business, going back to do an MSc in Psychology and becoming a burnout researcher, you could say that I have all the personal experience backed up by qualifications and accreditation.
Given my qualifications, my coaching is always psychology-infused. This means that if I think it’s relevant I might share the theory behind some of the things we talk about, mention some interesting research findings, or use science-backed tools. It also means I can go slightly deeper into the mindset work given my 10+ years of studying the brain and behaviour. My methods are a combination of coaching, positive psychology, emotional intelligence, mindset and leadership work. I’ve also been working in the online business space for 14 years, much of which was spent working as a service provider before I started working as a coach. I am also involved in solopreneur burnout research so I also have a solid understanding of what causes and prevents burnout in business.

We will have a private channel on Slack where we can exchange messages, voicenotes, documents and anything else relevant to the coaching process. I check Slack twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
While everything I do is grounded in psychology, this isn’t necessarily noticeable to the actual clients I work with because I will only introduce theory and research into the conversation if you want me to. I might suggest helpful exercises that are backed by science but from your side it’ll just look like a normal coaching activity. We can discuss psychology as much or as little as you like.
Being accredited by the EMCC holds me to high standards when it comes to ethics and the delivery of my coaching. It protects my clients because it means if I were to ever do anything unethical, you can complain to an external body and I could lose my accreditation. It’s one of the ways I have tried to build safety into my practice in an industry that is unregulated.
There is very little we can’t talk about during a session. The sessions are led by you and so you can take them in any direction you like. While we might finish one session by saying “lets pick this up again in our next call”, if something else comes up in the meantime, you are fully in control of shifting the conversation to whatever would be most beneficial to you.
No. I am not a therapist and I’m not a practicing clinical psychologist and so my coaching will stay within the remit of coaching only. I am more than happy to refer you to a therapist or similar if it becomes clear that this would be beneficial.
